Special Olympics Hawaii

HiHR's CEO Matt Delaney has served on the Board of Directors for Special Olympics Hawaii ("SOHI") since 2000. Matt is currently on the Executive Committee serving as Secretary. He chaired the Fundraising/Development Committee for 5 years, as well as the annual gala fundraiser "Casino Night" for the first six years.

Hawaii Pacific University - Travel Industry Management School

Members of HiHR's executive team currently serve on the Advisory Council for the Hawaii Pacific University Travel Industry Management ("TIM") School. They also are frequent keynote and class speakers for various levels of TIM students at HPU.

HiHR's CEO Matt Delaney served on the Board of Directors for the Hawaii Hotel & Lodging Association ("HHLA") from 1999 through 2007 and was the past-Chairman for the year 2005-06.

Hawaii Hotel Industry Foundation - Charity Walk

HiHR's CEO Matt Delaney chaired the Hawaii Hotel Industry Foundation, as well as the Visitor Industry Charity Walk in 2006, and helped lead a statewide effort to raise a record $1,150,000 in one day with over 10,000 walkers.
