APIII Memorial Golf Tournament

HiHR was proud to sponsor and participate in the 2nd Annual APIII Memorial Golf Tournament on January 23. Our Executive Vice President Scott Meichtry participated in the tournament, and proceeds were donated to Ronald McDonald House Charities and the Mid Pacific CC Junior Golf in memory of Tony Pereira III.

SKÅL Golf Tournament

The Hawaii Group was a Bronze Sponsor for the 2011 SKÅL Golf Tournament, which provides scholarships for Travel Industry Management students. The tournament was held in honor of SKÅL’s Executive Director Stephanie Uyeda, amazing and talented business woman and role model who passed away earlier in the year.

HiHR's CEO Matt Delaney has served on the Board of Directors for Special Olympics Hawaii ("SOHI") since 2000. Matt is currently on the Executive Committee serving as Secretary. He chaired the Fundraising/Development Committee for 5 years, as well as the annual gala fundraiser "Casino Night" for the first six years.

Hawaii Hotel Industry Foundation - Charity Walk

HiHR's CEO Matt Delaney chaired the Hawaii Hotel Industry Foundation, as well as the Visitor Industry Charity Walk in 2006, and helped lead a statewide effort to raise a record $1,150,000 in one day with over 10,000 walkers.
