Scott Meichtry

Scott Meichtry graduated from San Diego Sate University in 1992 with a bachelor's degree in Business Administration and a passion for entrepreneurship. Upon graduation, he moved with his fiancee to Vail, Colorado, to start a business in the construction industry. There, he incorporated and oversaw several successful businesses including an excavation company, a concrete company, a construction firm, a flat work company, a landscaping business and a human resource outsourcing business.

In 1997, after obtaining his Colorado Real Estate sales license, Scott expertly integrated the skills and resources from his existing enterprises to establish his own holding company focused on real estate development. Leveraging a well-deserved reputation for integrity and hard work, and a cohesive team approach, Scott flourished in the competitive real estate market of the Vail Valley. Managing both commercial and residential real estate development, the firm executed projects with total value of over $100 million.

Now, as a partner at HiHR, Scott brings decades of business experience to the team, providing a uniquely grounded perspective to internal operations and client relations. Serving as an ally in today’s economy, Scott, along with our knowledgeable and experienced team at HiHR, understands the unique perspective of Hawaiian business owners and is deeply committed to providing the services and support that each and every client needs to help them focus on their core business and, ultimately, succeed.

Scott and his wife, Tara Osborne (from Kailua), and two children, moved back to Hawaii in 2008. Scott's interests include coaching his children's sports teams, being active in St Anthony's Parish and participating in all of the sports activities that Hawaii has to offer.
